This coin was awarded in the 1980s by the President of Elite Military Coins (EMC85) to Navy NAVSPECWAR SEALs. This challenge coin is arguable the earliest Navy SEAL challenge coin made. Some of these challenge coins have “Serial Numbers” which matched the “number” on the certificate. This particular coin made by EMC does not have a serial number on it.
