This is a Special Coin. SEAL Team 3 and SEAL Team 8 Special Operations Task Force Navy Challenge Coin. Serial Numbered three digits.. This coin is approximately 2 1/4″ across and 2″ high with epoxy on both sides. ? NOTE: It has a serial number but is blocked out due to the possibility of counterfeiting listings. Acquired from a (RET) SEAL Team member at an estate sale. Great condition with light surface scratches from age as seen in photos. This is the last deployment for American Sniper Chris Kyle to Iraq in 2008, he would later be honorably discharged in 2009. During this deployment to Iraq, ST3 and ST8 engaged in the spring fighting and later were key to the siege of Sadr city. Chris Kyle was assigned to SEAL Team 3 as a sniper, serving multiple tours in Iraq during the Iraq War and becoming known as the U. Military’s most lethal sniper with 160 confirmed kills. He was assigned to the sniper element of Charlie Platoon within SEAL Team 3, providing support and security for U. Marines in dangerous urban warfare zones like Ramadi and Fallujah. Chris Kyle was a member of SEAL Team 3, a U. Navy special operations unit. He served as a sniper within the sniper element of Charlie Platoon. He served four tours in Iraq between 1999 and 2009, participating in missions during the initial invasion and later deployments. Kyle operated in high-intensity combat zones, including the cities of Fallujah and Ramadi, providing crucial sniper support to ground troops.
