This rare, dagger-shaped Challenge Coin salutes the highly skilled, dedicated and courageous service of the SOF operators assigned to Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force – Arabian Peninsula (CJSOTF-AP) during their deployment to Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) from 2009 to 2010: “Strength and Honor”. CJSOTF AP consisted elements from Army Special Forces (Green Berets), Naval Special Warfare (SEALs), Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), and aviators from the Army’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR), as well as other coalition partners.
