Introducing the GAME BOY SUPER MARIO BROS US NAVY CHALLENGE COIN CARTRIDGE! Background: A Military distributed challenge coin to members belonging to a certain unit / detachment / group in the U. This was presented to US Navy CPOs (Chief Petty Officers). FRONT OF COIN: We see a pretty faithful recreation of a Game Boy Cartridge in coin form! The lines and grooves all feel great and are faithful to the original cart body. We see GOATLOCKER GAMES on the top – with a beautifully colored center graphic where the game logo would usually be. Old School style Mario Level complete with enemies and power star! Only this time Mario is not dressed in his red/blue but rather Navy Khakis! Mario, enemies, blocks, etc are slightly raised from the surface of the coin giving a nice 3D effect as you pan your finger! REAR OF COIN: The rear has 2 important dates pertaining to the history of the USN (Though I sadly do not know more). The entire rear is an engraved wall of text (lawl) – Lyrics for “Anchors Aweigh” which is an official US Navy Band Song and also the song used for marches. Coin is an all metal body – feels great in hand. Smoke/Pet Free – I like questions and talking! Bubble envelopes and small boxes with ample protective packaging are used.
